I have had this blog set up for quite some time. Mostly to do lots of blog reading, but as you can tell by this being my first post- not so much writing.
If there is one thing to get a girl writing, it is a chance to enter a friend into a “Show us your singles” Friday from Kelly's Korner .
I’m linking up today to introduce my old college roommate, post college best friend, Lisa.
Lisa is the kind of person everyone needs in their life. She’s caring, compassionate, and giving.
Lisa is the first person her friends call with good news, bad news, and everything in between. Lisa is well known as the organizer of all gatherings, the planner of all trips, and the life of every get together. She is also just as happy curled up on a couch, watching DVR’d shows and relaxing after a long day at work.
Family is very important to Lisa. She grew up in a very close, now very large Italian family in Maryland. She did find herself as a Virginia resident for four (and a half) amazing years while attending Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree. (Go Hokies!)
Upon graduation, Lisa returned to the Maryland/ DC area. She works for a financial planner, enjoys volunteering for a junior achievement program in her area that teaches middle school youth about the importance of future financial planning, and coaching girls basketball for a local recreation program. In her free time, Lisa enjoys weekend trips to the beach with family and friends.
Lisa is a fun loving 28 year old girl who loves the Hokies, family, friends, dachshunds, and enjoying life. Lisa is the first person to celebrate other people’s relationship successes, life achievements, and future plans. I’m hoping she meets a fun loving man who can share in her successes, achievements, and can enhance her future plans.
If you think Lisa's other half is someone you know, feel free to leave a comment and get in touch!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Chris. I am interested in getting to know you. Check out my blog http://dtbcf.blogspot.com/. Hope to here from you soon.
Hey C&C, I'm Matt and I think your friend Lisa seems pretty fun and down to earth. I don't actually have a blog but my sister, who lives in Boston reads Kelly's Korner and sent me this link.
ReplyDeleteBut about me, I'm a 27 year old [obviously] single guy. I love to cook new things and to balance that out with exercise, I try and ride/race mountain bike as often as I can. I also look nothing like Dr. Fancy Pants (yeah... I checked out his blog), and I live in Arlington.
So Lisa, end me an e-mail at matthew.mead@hotmail.com if you're interested in talking!
